Here since ‘93

They called him "Hot" because Skipper Austin Blake kept the woodstove roaring no matter how thick the crowd. That same legendary warmth defines us today. Whether you’re here for the Viking history or a cold pint with the locals, pull up a chair. The stove is on, the tales are tall, and you’re always welcome.

KItchen Parties

Every Fridays during the summer

Step into our spirited Kitchen Party! We keep the Newfoundland and Irish classics on high rotation while the accordion jigs gets the heart pounding. For our "Come From Aways," the night is your chance to become an honorary Newfoundlander with an authentic Screech-In. Once you become a Newfoundlander, you will always get a cup of tea at any Newfie’s kitchens’ table!

Chronicles and Harmonies

Sundays and Wednesday during the summer

Chronicles and Harmonies is an evening of stories shaped by the land and the sea. Told through music and spoken word, this show traces pieces of Newfoundland’s history resettlement, the moratorium, hard years that tested families and communities but our warm resiliency remained.
